During our stay at Palacio Nova Seara, we were blown away by the warm hospitality and genuine kindness of the owners, Maria and Jose. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like part of their family. One afternoon, while we were relaxing with a bottle of wine, Maria surprised us with a tray of delicious bread, cheese, and meats. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a testament to the generosity of the Portuguese people.

Breakfast was decent and the room was clean.
The amenities fell short of our expectations. the room was quite small and the air conditioning wasn't working properly, making it very uncomfortable.

We found a nice place in the beautiful Portuguese countryside, close to the Douro valley. Our room had a great view and was spacious and clean. the breakfast was excellent, with fresh juices and lots of fruits. Maria and Joseph were very welcoming and friendly hosts.
The Wi-Fi in the room was quite slow and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected.

The hotel offered a great variety of fresh breakfast options including homemade jams and fresh juices. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the surrounding area and easy access to local wineries. the room was spacious with high-quality linens and towels.
There was nothing negative about the hotel, although some of the local restaurants were closed for the Christmas holiday which limited dining options in the area. Nonetheless, the hotel provided great recommendations for alternative dining experiences.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
